Lowestoft - 2 Firecrest + single Chiffchaff were noted along Flycatcher Alley this morning.
Kessingland - Both Glaucous Gull & Pom Skua were seen South offshore between 09.50-10.00hrs.
Minsmere - Glaucous Gull off the sluice @ 1100hrs + Dartford Warbler on the beach. On East scrape an adult Caspian Gull was present @ 1400hrs.
Landguard - A Great Northern Diver was noted South offshore + Snow Bunting.
Orwell Est - The Great Northern Diver was still present on the river opposite Pin Mill @ 0930hrs then possibly the same individual was seen upriver from Woolverstone marina @ 1215hrs where also a Peregrine was actively seen hunting the mudflats + a further Peregrine was on the bridge.
Stour Est - From Harkstead a Great Northern Diver was seen + 2 Bar-tailed Godwits, a further 25 Bar-wits were seen in Holbrook Bay. Friday 27th November 2009.
North Warren - The first White-fronted Geese (4) of the winter were noted on North Marsh + Red-breasted Goose was seen amongst the Barncle flock.
Slaughden - Offshore 2 Razorbills were present on the sea + 9 Common Scoter & 44 Brent Geese were noted South.
Melton - The Little Stint was again seen on the Deben. Thursday 26th November 2009.
Stour Est - Red-necked Grebe again on the river viewable from Harkstead this afternoon.
Wednesday 25th November 2009.
Shingle Street - 2 Swallows were seen South @ 1105hrs.
Stour Est - Sightings from an organised RSPB barge trip today included 2 Great Northern Diver + Shag on the river in front of Wrabness Beach huts. Great Northern Diver, Slavonian Grebe, Red-ncked Grebe & Common Scoter all in Copperas Bay & in Jacques Bay Common Scoter & Peregrine. A distant Slav Grebe was viewable from Holbrook School. Tuesday 24th November 2009.
Orwell Est - The Red-necked Grebe was again viewble from Levington marina though distant @ 1515hrs.
Stour Est - Upto 4 Greant Northern Diver present in Copperas Bay + single Shag & Common Scoter, from Mistley a single Common Scoter was also present.
Stowupland - c200 Golden Plovers noted.
Monday 23rd November 2009.
Bradwell - A late House Martin was seen over Yew Tree Close @ 1405hrs.
Minsmere - Both adult & 1st winter Caspian Gulls present on East scrape late afternoon.
North Warren - 2 Y L Gulls (1st & 2nd winter birds) present on South marsh early afternoon.
Melton - Both Curlew Sand & Little Stint on the Deben this afternoon.
Levington - A Red-necked Grebe was present on the Orwell viewable from the marina mid morning.
Ipswich - A Lesser-spotted Woodpecker was seen in copse at Bobbits Lane end of Bourne Park + Jack Snipe on the meadows. Sunday 22nd November 2009.
Kessingland - The Shorelark was still present by the pools at the North end of the beach + 33 Snow Buntings on the beach.
Benacre - 2 Shorelarks present by the Broad late morning & near-by 12 Tree Sparrows by Beach Farm.
Minsmere - 3 Caspian Gulls (2) 4th win & (1) 3rd win + 5 Y L Gulls were present on East scrape late afternoon.

Walbserswick - c40 Twite were present just South of the harbour mouth + Jack Snipe noted on the saltings.
Aldeburgh - A Great Northern Diver was present on the river Alde mid morning viewble from the river wall adjacent to Aldeburgh Marshes.
Martlesham - A Great Northern Diver was present on the Deben at the mouth of Martlesham Creek viewable from Kyson point.
Levington - The Great Northern Diver was again on the river viewable from the marina just West of Collimer Point then later seen further up river from Nacton shores.
Ipswich - Juvenile Shag present in the wet dock swimming near the sea scout jetty at 9am.

Minsmere - Single Bonxie seen offshore this morning & the Great White Egret was once again on Island Mere til 1355hrs. 3 adult & a 1st winter Caspian Gulls + 2 adult Y L Gulls present on East scrape late afternnon.
Melton - Both Little Stint & Curlew Sand on the Deben viewable from Dock Lane late morning.

Stour Est - A female Common Scoter was present on the river viewable from Mistley.

Stour Est - Single Great Northern Diver in Holbrook Bay but no sign of any Slav Grebes, a Peregrine was seen attacking the wader roost at the ICI roost at Cattawade this afternoon..

Lowestoft - 4 Purple Sands present at Ness Point late morning.
Southwold - A Grey Phalarope was present on the Blyth estuary til 1450hrs by the boats around the harbour masters store, then drifted down river and lost to view, possibly flew over the river wall to pools North of Walberswick?
Walberswick - A late Swallow was seen South over Dingle Marsh @ 1305hrs.
Minsmere - Great White Egret still on Is.mere + ringtail Hen Harrier noted, on East scrape single Caspian Gull & upto 5 Y L Gulls present.
Stour Est - Great Northern Diver still present on the river + Slav Grebe viewable from the Royal hospital school, Holbrook. Wednesday 18th November 2009.

Southwold - 5 Snow Buntings present by the harbour mouth @ 1330hrs.
Minsmere - PENDULINE TITS have been heard calling within the last 2 weeks within the reedbed on the reserve. Caspian Gull present on the scrape this afternoon.
Orfordness - Highlights from the NT reserve included; 20 Snow Buntings, 2 Peregrine & singles of both Merlin & Hen Harrier.
Ipswich - Tawny Owl again present & showing well in it's favoured Oak tree in Christchurch Park.

Melton - Little Stint still viewable from Dock Lane on the Deben.
Stour Est - Red-necked Grebe & 2 Great Northern Divers were seen on the river in Holbrook Bay. Sunday 15th November 2009.
Lowestoft - Upto 4 Firecrest present around the town (1 Sparrows nest, 2 Belle Vue Park & 1 in the NW corner of the oval) + adult Med Gull at Links Road road carpark. 4 Purple Sands were present on the old sea wall North of Ness point.
Southwold - 18 Snow Buntings present at the mouth of the harbour late morning.
Minsmere - Great White Egret again on Island Mere @ 1215hrs at least + 4 Snow Bunting on the beach near the public viewing platform
Trimley - Drake Goosander present on Loompit lake @ 1105hrs.
Ipswich - Tawny Owl showing well this afternoon in it's original roost site within Christchurch Park. Saturday 14th November 2009.
Lowestoft - A 1st winter Glaucous Gull was seen South off Lowestoft sea-wall @ 0850hrs.
Minsmere - 4 Snow Buntings present behind East hide early afternoon + on East scrape itself, 2+ Caspian Gull (1st winter & near-adult) + 2 Y L Gulls (2nd & 4th winter birds) & juv Peregrine over.

Minsmere - A 2nd winter Caspian Gull was present on the scrape.

Kessingland - Single Shorelark still present on Kessingland beach near tern fence today + 32 Snow Bunting incl 1 ringed bird (orange ring).
North Warren - Red-breasted Goose with Barncles + 3 Brent Geese present on South marsh early afternoon + Dartford Warbler.
Deben Estuary - Curlew Sand on the river between Melton & Woodbridge. Wednesday 11th November 2009.
Kessingland - No sign of the Shorelarks today but c30 Snow Bunting were present on the beach ranging between the road end upto 1 mile North to the tern fence.
Minsmere - 2 Caspian Gulls both 1st year birds were present on North scrape late afternoon.
Lakenheath - 2 Great White Egret again at Lakenheath Fen RSPB on Hockwold Washes. Tuesday 10th November 2009.
Kessingland - 2 Shorelark & c20 Snow Bunting by the tern fence on Kessingland beach.
Benacre - 5 Tree Sparrow in crop field by Beach farm.
Minsmere - On East scrape juvenile Glaucous Gull, 1st year Caspian Gull & 14 Snow Buntings present, On Island Mere the Great White Egret continued to show along with 14 Bewicks Swan & a late House Martin was seen over the carpark mid afternoon.
Shingle Street - A 1st winter Ring Ouzel was seen by the alotments late morning.
Melton - On the Deben, singles of both Little Stint & Curlew Sand were present + 5 Greenshanks & 3 Med Gulls.
Santon Downham - c130 Brambling were present by St.Helens picnic site. Monday 9th November 2009.
Gunton - The DUSKY WARBLER was again rptd opposite Warrenhouse Wood at the entrance of Corton Woods in birches @ 1340hrs.
Dunwich - c30 Twite present by the shorepools incl 1 ringed individual (pink/white ring), also 9 Snow Buntings, Water Pipit & Spot'shank present.
Minsmere - A 1st year Glaucous Gull was present on East scrape mid afternoon.
Orfordness - 2 Woodcock, Snow Bunting, Black Redstart, 2 Peregrines & a Merlin was the highlights from the NT reserve.
Needham Market - A Merlin was seen over early morning.

Gunton - The elusive DUSKY WARBLER put in an appearance North of Warrenhouse Wood in birch trees @ 1332hrs + 2 Firecrest & 2 Dartford Warbler still.
Lowestoft - 2 Purple Sands at Ness point, though no sign of y'day's Little Auk, near-by just North of Fisher Row, Black Redstart, ringtail Hen Harrier & Green Sand noted. Southwold - Single Water Pipit present by the boating lake this morning.
Dunwich - 30 Twite 1mile North of Beach carpark on saltings.
North Warren - 4 Bewicks's Swans present on South Marsh late aftern0on.
Bawdsey - 2 Black-necked Grebes on the sea viewable from East Lane @ 1015hrs.
Landguard - 2 Bean Geese in off @ 0845hrs + Short-eared Owl on the reserve @ 1020hrs at least.
Ipswich - Woodcock noted in Holywells Park + Peregrine on the Orwell bridge.
Lakenheath - Great White Egret still Hockwold Washes + Curlew Sand which had earlier been reported as White-rumped Sand. Saturday 7th November 2009.
Gunton - The DUSKY WARBLER was still present today though was rather elusive in the Holm Oak clump just North of Warrenhouse Wood + 2 Firecrests & 2 Dartford Warblers present in the general area.
Lowestoft - A Little Auk was noted on the sea just off Lowestoft Nortn beach carpark between from 1410hrs til dusk. + 11 Snow Buntings.

Lackford - Both Great White Egret & Bittern rptd from the SWT reserve.
Lakenheath - The Great White Egret was again present on Hockwold Washes this afternoon + Curlew Sand. Friday 6th November 2009.
Gunton - DUSKY WARBLER still present today in birch trees behind Holm Oak copse 200yards North of Warrenhouse Wood + Northern Wheatear present on the beach, Dartford Warbler on the common & 3 Whooper Swan flew East @ 0935hrs.

Gunton - The DUSKY WARBLER was once again just North of Warrenhouse Wood today in Silver birches above the Holm Oaks, also present singles of Dartford Warbler, Northern Wheatear & Snow Bunting.
Lowestoft - Adult Yellow-legged Gull present on the gryones along North beach + Woodcock in off, 19 Pink-footed Geese North @ 1150hrs & a Ring-necked Parakeet was present this morning seen flying over the denes.
Minsmere - On Island Mere, the Great White Egret remained + 4 Bewicks & a single Whooper Swan present & 2 late Swallows, On the scrape a near adult Caspian Gull was on East scrape & 2 Water Pipits noted. Wednesday 4th November 2009.
Gunton - The DUSKY WARBLER continued to show this morning at Gunton Warren in bracken just North of Warrenhouse Wood + 2 Firecrest present & Lapland Bunting over.
Benacre - A Caspian Gull was present on the Broad + 2 Swallows noted.
Southwold - A Water Pipit was noted by the boating lake.
Shingle Street - Short-eared Owl seen just South of Shingle street this afternoon.
Bawdsey - Single Firecrest by the picnic site & Peregrine over.
Landguard - A Dartford Warbler was a note-worthy sighting & only the 4th record for the site + single Firecrest present. Tuesday 3rd November 2009.
Gunton - The DUSKY WARBLER was again present just North of the 2nd pill box North of Warrenhouse Wood though generally very elusive + Firecrest & 2 Dartford Warblers noted.

Gunton - A DUSKY WARBLER was discovered @ 1445hrs 400yards North of Links Road carpark and was present til 1500hrs then no further til dusk, offshore a Velvet Scoter was noted just c100yards on the sea slowly drifting South

Bawdsey - 10+ Firecrest, Chiffchaff, Blackcap & 2 Woodcock present at the picnic site, near-by the coastal path between East Lane & Shingle Street produced 2 late Wheatear, Dartford Warbler, 8 Snow Buntings, Merlin & Peregrine.
Lakenheath - Great White Egret Lakenheath Fen RSPB on the river between the two plantations Sunday 1st November 2009.
Southwold - Singles of both Puffin & Great Skua noted offshore.
