Waveney Area - 2 Purple Sands at Ness Point.
Blyth Estuary - Glaucous Gull again viewable from Hen Reedbeds
Walberswick - 2 Tundra Bean sp on marsh between the harbour car park and Bailey bridge.
Dunwich - 12 Snow Bunting still Dingle Marshes + 2 Spotted Redshank.
Westleton - The WHITE-TAILED EGALE (G463) left it's roost site (Mount Pleasant Farm) at 0800hrs.
Felixstowe - Snow Bunting seen at Ferry on beach by the shore pools.
Lakenheath - 6 Spoonbill seen in flight over the western end of the RSPB reserve
Sunday 30th.
Waveney Area - Iceland Gull Carlton Marshes on flood NW of visitor centre at 1255hrs then came into roost at Lowestoft Harbour near the helipad at dusk. 6+ Hawfinch again Sotterley Park mid morning by the dell.
Reydon - 3 EWFG on marshes near the wind pump just W of the Bailey bridge.
Walberswick -14 Snow Bunting still on the beach at Corporation Marshes
Minsmere - The LESSER YELLOWLEGS was again seen on levels south of the sluice + 2 Bewick's Swan on Island Mere. The WHITE-TAILED EAGLE (photo Gary Mowles) that was seen y'day over North Warren, was observed today north over the reserve at 1213hrs and the subsequent sightings were as follows;
Saturday 29th.
Waveney Area - Glossy Ibis still at Carlton Marshes though mobile. 8+ Hawfinch still Sotterley Park in the dell.
Westleton - 2 Bewick's Swan north over the heath early morning
Minsmere - LESSER YELLOWLEGS still on lucky pool + Great Egret, 5 Whooper Swan and 2 Bewick's Swan on the reserve.
Thorpeness - 2 SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF were present in silver birches opposite the sewage works + 10+ Common Chiffchaff.
North Warren - A WHITE-TAILED EAGLE was seen low over North Marsh at 0759hrs (suggestive it roosted locally) then continued on it's journey south. The bird then spent the day around the Alde Estuary and roosted near Iken church. This individual is from the Isle of Wight reintroduction scheme (G463), also Great Egret and Merlin noted around North Warren
Friday 28th.
Waveney Area - 12 Hawfinch again in Sotterley Park though mobile. Great Egret again south along the coast at Kessingland.
Blyth Estuary - The 2w Glaucous Gull was again seen from the river bank at Hen Reedbeds then flew north early afternoon.
Dunwich - 14 Snow Bunting, 3 Spot Reds and Great Egret on Corporation Marshes
Westleton - 8 Whooper Swan still in beet field along Lymballs Lane.
Minsmere - LESSER YELLOWLEGS again on lucky pool from 1140hrs. 7 Whooper and 2 Bewick Swans at dusk on Island Mere.
Felixstowe - 2 Purple Sands on the point at LBO
Ipswich - SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF still present in Belstead Brook Park.
Lakenheath - 3 Common Cranes at Lakenheath Fen from Joist Fen watch point
Thursday 27th
Waveney Area – Great Egret over Kessingland then flew south. 11 Hawfinch again in Sotterley Park. Male Hen Harrier over marshes between Waveney Forest and Belton.
Dunwich - 4 Spotted Redshank on the shore pools + 15 Snow Bunting along the shingle ridge. Short-eared Owl over Corporation Marsh.
Minsmere – LESSER YELLOWLEGS present again though mobile + 9 Goosander & single juvenile Whooper Swan viewable from Whin Hill.
Lakenheath – 6 Common Crane Lakenheath Fen RSPB from Joist Fen viewpoint.

Ipswich – A SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF was seen along Belstead Brook viewable from path between the two reedbeds just south of the bridge + Common Chiffchaff.
Pakenham – 6 EWFG at Puttocks Hill (near Ixworth) viewed from metal gate / concrete block in field left of track.
Tuesday 25th
Waveney Area – 3 Hawfinch Sotterley Park in trees by the dell. Shorelark still Pakefield beach south of coastguards. 3 Shag at Lake Lothing.
Westleton – 8 Whooper Swan still in sugar beet viewed from Lymballs Lane.
Minsmere – LESSER YELLOWLEGS still present south of the sluice on lucky pool. 7 Whooper Swan on Island Mere + 24 Goosander on pool just to the east.

Dunwich – 10 Twite by the shore pools + Water Pipit and Spotted Redshank, nearby 30 EWFG in flight over Westwood Marshes. Velvet Scoter noted amongst the Common Scoter flock offshore.
Minsmere – LESSER YELLOWLEGS still on lucky pool though mobile. Great Northern Diver reported offshore

Minsmere – A LESSER YELLOWLEGS was discovered just south of the sluice on “lucky pool” at 1015hrs though mobile throughout the remainder of the day.
