Red-backed Shrike recently at an undisclosed private site in the county with no general access.

Minsmere - Wood Sand, 3 Curlew Sands, 2 Garganey, 7 LRP & 12 Spotted Redshank on the scrape.

Alde Estuary - 16 Curlew Sands noted on the rising tide at Hazelwood Marshes + Spotted Redshank.

Wickham Market - Honey Buzzard North over the A12 bypass at 10:45hrs.

Minsmere - Great Egret on Is.mere + Wood & Curlew Sands on the scrape.

Alde Est - 11 adult Curlew Sands seen on the rising tide at Hazelwood Marshes.

Sunday 29th July.

Minsmere - 2 Curlew Sand + Wood Sand on the scrape.

Sizewell - 2 juv Arctic Tern + c50 Little Gulls off the rigs.

Alde Estuary - 3 Curlew Sands Hazelwood Marshes.

Minsmere - Highlights from around the scrape included; Wood Sand, 4 Curlew Sands, 4 LRP, limosa Godwit, 12 Spotted Redshank, 4 Black Terns, Arctic Tern & 57 Little Gulls.

Alde Estuary - 4 Curlew Sands at Hazelwood Marshes.

Havergate - 8 Curlew Sands on the Cottage flood today.

Minsmere - SAVI'S WARBLER still singing from Is.mere + Roseate Tern on South scrape early evening, Arctic Tern & 30 Little Gulls.

Minsmere - SAVI'S WARBLER still from Is.mere.

Newbourne - Lesser-spotted Woodpecker heard again early afternoon from Newbourne Springs water meadows.

Sunday 22nd July.

Minsmere - An adult Roseate Tern was present on South scrape + juv Black Tern & Curlew Sand. Juvenile limosa Godwit on East scrape. SAVI'S still Island Mere.

Snape - Spoonbill, 2 Garganey & Spot Red just West of Snape on Botany Marsh.

Newbourne - Lesser spotted Woodpecker heard calling at Newbourne Springs water meadows.

Lakenheath - Juvenile Purple Heron rptd in flight near Joist Fen at 16:30hrs.

Saturday 21st July.

Minsmere - 2 SAVI'S WARBLER heard from Island Mere. On the scrape, 2 Arctic Tern (adult & juv) Curlew Sand, 2 LRP, 3 Garganey, c30 Little Gull, 2 Caspian Gull, 15 YLG (1 juv) & 13 Spotted Redshank.

Snape - Wood Sand Botany Marshes.

Havergate - 8 Spoonbill on the RSPB island.

Friday 20th July.

Minsmere - SAVI'S WARBLER still audible from Is.mere. Around the reserve, Spoonbill, c40 Little Gull, 2 Arctic Tern, 3 YLG, 6+ Spotted Redshank & 4 Garganey noted. 2 juv limosa Godwits on East scrape.

North Warren - Great Egret on South Marsh.

Snape - 2 Garganey on Botany Marshes + Spoonbill.

Thursday 19th July.

Minsmere - 4 Garganey still on East scrape.

Snape - 2 Garganey on Botany Marshes + Spotted Redshank.

Wednesday 18th July.

Minsmere - c70 Little Gulls on the scrape + 4 Garganey & 3 Spoonbill on East scrape this evening. 

Tuesday 17th July.

Minsmere - 2 Curlew Sands on the scrape + 10 Spotted Redshank, 2 Garganey & c40 Little Gull on the reserve.

Great Livermere - A Pectoral Sandpiper was seen and heard as it flew over Broad water Lake at 20:20hrs.

Monday 16th July.

Covehithe - Arctic Tern on the broad.

Minsmere - Little Stint & 2 Garganey on East scrape & Black Tern seen on South scrape prior at 08:45hrs.

Sunday 15th July.

Lowestoft Area - Spoonbill North over the scrape at Carlton Marshes mid morning.

Minsmere - Honey Buzzard seen again from Whin Hill at 11:30hrs then drifted South. 2 SAVI'S WARBLER audible from Is.mere.

Snape - Honey Buzzard seen at 13:00hrs est of the malting's.

Long Melford - A fine adult Rose-coloured Starling was discovered amongst Starlings at 09:50hrs along Liston Lane at 09:50 and again at 16:10hrs though very elusive. (photo Darren Underwood).

Minsmere - The highlights around the reserve today included the long staying Savi's Warbler that can be heard from Island Mere. Honey Buzzard over the discovery centre at 11:30hrs. The scrape held Little Stint, 2 Spoonbill & 44 Little Gulls.

Minsmere - Honey Buzzard seen over the work centre then West at 13:40hrs + escaped Golden Eagle reported. 2 Adult Arctic Tern on South scrape + 43 Little Gulls.

Minsmere - Roseate Tern on South scrape until late morning + Manx Shearwater & Arctic Skua offshore.

Monday 9th July.

Minsmere - Roseate Tern on South scrape late morning then flew out to sea.

Minsmere - SAVI'S WARBLER still from Island Mere at 06:30hrs. 2 adult Roseate Terns on South scrape this evening.

Theberton - The 2 ringed White Storks of unknown origin were still present in fields just North of the village early morning only.

Hollesley - 2 White Storks (presumed the above) South over the village at 10:00hrs.

Theberton - 2 ringed White Storks of unknown origin this evening in oaks at the junction of Theberton - Yoxford Rd.

Trimley St Martin - An Alpine Swift was seen West over Blue Barn Farm at 18:05hrs.

Minsmere - 4 Bee-eater ere seen from Island Mere this morning before heading East. An adult Roseate Tern was present on the scrape for much of the afternoon.
